About

Built by an AI engineer. Shaped by a practicing DC.

ChiroScribe turns a spoken visit into a board-defensible SOAP note in about two minutes. It exists because a practicing chiropractor described his evenings to an AI engineer, who built the tool that should have already existed.

Why we built it

It started with one chiropractor showing an engineer what his evenings really looked like.

Dr. Aaron Bailey had been running a chiropractic practice in Metro Atlanta for years when he described his evenings to Kevin Poindexter. Last patient out at six. Notes until eight. Every weekday, and part of most Sundays.

Kevin had spent years building secure AI and software systems for complex, high-trust environments, where mishandling sensitive data was an incident rather than a support ticket. What chiropractors were being sold were template libraries, general-medicine scribes, or AI bundled into an EHR that required a practice-wide migration.

So he built the missing piece instead of another whole system. Aaron pressure-tested every version against how chiropractors actually document: what a daily note needs, where a re-exam differs, and what an auditor looks for.

Before launch, we benchmarked 2,147 ChiroScribe SOAP notes from 18 practices across 12 states. The average time from voice capture to a reviewed, signed note was 126 seconds. Read the benchmark methodology. ChiroScribe runs alongside whatever you already use.

Leadership

The people behind the product.

A revenue leader, a forward-deployed AI engineer, and a practicing chiropractor aligned around one shared problem. Cofounders Jess and Kevin Poindexter are partners in business and in life.

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Jess leads ChiroScribe as CEO. With more than sixteen years in revenue leadership, she has helped over forty startups build the go-to-market engines they were missing—first through venture and private equity roles at TriNet and Manifold, then as founder of Amplify Group, where clients have grown revenue between 150 and 590 percent year over year. She is based in Miami, Florida.

Kevin Poindexter

Founder & Chief Technology Officer

Kevin is the AI technology leader and forward-deployed engineer behind ChiroScribe. He built the platform end to end—from its architecture and model behavior to its note-quality standards and the features practices use every day. His background is in delivering secure, production-grade AI and software for complex, high-trust environments. In close partnership with Dr. Aaron Bailey, Kevin turns the realities of chiropractic practice into reliable clinical workflows. His standard is simple: the AI has to be useful in the treatment room, not just impressive in a demo.

Chief Chiropractic Officer

Aaron is the reason ChiroScribe exists. A Life University graduate and founder of Vinings Spine & Health Center in Vinings, Georgia, he described the documentation problem the way chiropractors live it: as the thing standing between the last patient and the rest of the evening. As Chief Chiropractic Officer, he provides the clinical feedback and practitioner input that shape what gets built, and represents ChiroScribe across partnerships, education, and industry conversations. He still practices in Metro Atlanta.

AI engineering, grounded in security

Why a forward-deployed AI engineer built ChiroScribe.

Kevin has spent his career bringing AI and secure software into complex, high-trust environments. His work sits between emerging technology and real operations: understanding how people work, shaping models around those workflows, and staying close enough to the deployment to see where systems break.

He brought that forward-deployed approach to ChiroScribe. Kevin builds in close partnership with Dr. Aaron Bailey, translating Aaron’s day-to-day clinical experience into product decisions while owning the path from model behavior to application architecture and data safeguards. The result is AI built around the realities of chiropractic documentation—not a generic model wrapped in a form.

What we believe

Three things we will not compromise on.

01

The note is a clinical artifact, not marketing copy.

Our notes do not hedge, pad, or invent. They read like notes a board examiner would defend. Every prompt and every reviewer pass is built to that bar.

02

A provider’s time is the number that matters.

We benchmarked 2,147 SOAP notes from 18 practices in 12 states, with an average of 126 seconds from voice capture to a reviewed, signed note. If we cannot keep returning time to a provider, we have not earned the subscription.

03

We are the documentation layer, not the EHR.

ChiroScribe works alongside ChiroTouch, Jane, ChiroFusion, paper, or nothing. We will not force a clinic-wide migration just to try AI documentation.
